Electronics and communication is that field of engineering whose basic knowledge has become essential for all branches of engineering, because it is applicable to all in one form or other as ICs, Gates, MOSFETs , FETs, Transistors Diodes ,microprocessors etc. Keeping all this in the mind , the department offers the courses of basic electronics devices to all engineering branches in the first two years to enhance their abilities regarding the Electronic Devices and their various operations. Other major courses of Electronics and Communication engineering are also offered to engineering students of different branches depending upon their requirements.The focus of electronics and communication engineering is on understanding electronic networks and devices, electromagnetic field theory, computer fundamentals, as also their protection, and communication and control systems.
The total intake for computer science branch is 60 and there is a balanced structure of faculty and student ratio as per the AICTE norm. The theory lectures are supplemented with the lab experiments, assignments and regular assessments. The various projects and assignments are being allotted on interest basis.

The main purpose of the department is not only to prepare the students to the real life opportunities as fabrication of circuit models for which they are made to do various mini and major projects, but also to prepare them in accordance with the developing technology. For this , effective method of teaching is adopted where the theory taught is complemented by well planned practical.The Programme prepares its graduates to pursue life-long learning, serve the profession and meet intellectual, ethical and career challenges. It also maintain a vital , state-of-the art research environment to provide its students and faculty with opportunities to create, interpret, apply and disseminate knowledge.

It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided engineering and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, weapons, medical devices, and others.
